Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the extent of the influence of supervision on employee performance within the Merauke Regency Agency for National Unity and Politics (Kesbangpol). Supervision is a crucial management function to ensure that all organizational activities proceed in accordance with established plans in order to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently. The research method used is a quantitative method with an associative approach. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires to all employees as respondents, observation, and a document review. The data analysis techniques used included correlation tests and determination tests to measure the extent to which the supervision variable (X) influences the employee performance variable (Y). The research results showed that the correlation test yielded a result of 0.87, indicating that supervision has a positive and significant influence on employee performance at the Merauke Regency Agency for National Unity and Politics. Furthermore, based on the coefficient of determination, a result of 75.69% was obtained, indicating that the supervision variable contributes 75.69% to the fluctuations in employee performance at the Merauke Regency Agency for National Unity and Politics. These results indicate that the better the supervision system implemented, the greater the improvement in employee performance, as reflected in work quality, work quantity, and timeliness.
